はじめまして．私が使っている教科書では Normal reaction はいつも摩擦と一緒に書かれ，摩擦が考えられない時（下注） Reaction と書いているように思えるのですが，そうなのでしょうか？そうすると，Reaction と地面との角度は何との合成なのでしょうか？

（注）例えば以下の問題では passenger にかかる力は passenger の weight Ｗとシートから passenger にかかる Ｒ（Reaction）だけとなっています．

（問題） A car is accelerating up a slope of angle theta to the horizontal with an acceleration of magnitude a. Assuming that a passenger follows the motion of the car exactly, what is the magnitude of the force exerted by the seat on a passenger of mass m?
